Pink or HOT Pink????

So I just read a blog about parents that dress their little girls way too sexy and I wanted to post on HER blog, but had WAY too much to say! I can not agree with her opinions more! WTF is wrong with this world these days?
My princess is only 9 years old and I would never dress her in something that looks like it came out of a strippers quick change bag! When I walk through the stores and try to shop for her, all I see is sequins, short skirts, skinny jeans ( low rise, no less) and PADDED BRAS! WHOA! Those alone make me stand there in awe! I tend to stare at them and wonder who the f&*k would put a padded, underwire bra on a 10 or even 14 year old? WHY would you plump them up for boys, or demented men, to look at....it IS YOUR daughter! And these skinny low rise jeans? I HATE THEM ON ME, but wear them because I can't find regular high rise jeans that do not look like mom jeans. When I do find them...they are priced like the stitching is 18K Italian gold, and some of them feel like I am wearing cardboard. Shouldn't they be like "buttah" for that price?
Let's move on to one of my favorite stores, Victoria's Secret. I love this store, not for the overrated, overpriced lingerie, but for the sweats!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE Pink....but for ME, not for the demographic they are targeting. I know this line of clothing is mainly for the college age girl, but I refuse to give it up...they are way to comfy! Here's my problem with Pink though...I am appalled at the catalogue pics. The models look no older than 18 and yet they are wearing panties with sexy sayings on their....well....crotch and ass! Like I said, the girls that buy this stuff are around 15 to 30 ( with the exception of the mom's that are in old age denial....me) so why would you put " GET WILD", "MAKE MY DAY" , "PARTY WITH ME" and my personal favorite "LET'S DO IT" on the panties!!!??? I know I don't want my little girl thinking it's "cute" to show the boys her twoofer because it says cutsie sayings on the front of her undies!
I know what you are thinking...yes, yes I do! You are thinking, "Lady, if you think that teenagers aren't having sex, then you are an asshole". See!? I knew it! But, I am not an asshole, f**k you very much, I am indeed a realist and I do know that a lot of them are "doin it". BUT...why promote it? Why make it "cute"? The media is already doing that , and has been for decades. Vicky's little secret should be for the grown women, and PINK should tone it down. It's not HOT PINK, it's Pink! Let the teens wear cute undies, but stop writing invites on them. And for Pete's sake, though in this case Pam's sake, use some older models on the PINK pages!! Wouldn't hurt to feed them a hot fudge sundae...or two...either, but that's a whole other rant!!!!!!
